It's a little slow, but it's for people who live in the N.W. Several
of the members go to OHSU.

Those thyroid tests are out dated now, so next time ask and insist
that they test TSH, free T3, free T4, and if you haven't had anti-TPO
and anti-Tg antibodies tested, do that too. Make sure it is free,
not total by the way. Osteopaths are very good for using these tests
by the way. I noticed my last responce to you that I should have
explained better that armour has T4 and T3 (about 4:1), T2, T1 and
calcitonin.

Are you taking calcium? If you are, take magnesium too as calcium
needs magnesium to bind to bone. Take extra of both.

Ordinarily I don't tell people to take anti-depressants as
psychiatrist never test your hormones first to see what you actually
need. They just guess at it. SSRI class anti-depressants like
prozac, paxil and celexa are supposed to help raise serotonin
levels. Low serotonin can cause depression. These antidepressants
cause serotonin to build up by slowing down its break down into
melatonin.

Are you taking any other hormones or is it just androgel?

Chris
