This is an email group for people with hydrocephalus, their friends and family members, health care professionals and anyone else with an interest in the condition. The purpose of the list is to share information and support in dealing with hydrocephalus. A good way to start is to send a message to the group introducing yourself. Feel free to post anytime. A little about me. Well my name is Karen, I have 4 children and my 3rd child, Ben, was born in Aug. of 1998 with Hydrocephalus and Cerebal Palsy. This was not discovered until he was 4 months old. Since then he has undergone 9 surgeries. VP shunts, Plureal shunt, 3rd ventriculostomy, VA shunt and currently has another VP shunt.
I started this group to find answers and support for myself and found that there are a lot of people out there just like me.
