Houston Area Bandsters is a Bandsters sub-group for anyone in the Houston, Texas area who has or who is investigating the Adjustable Gastric Band (AGB) as a minimally invasive surgical option for severe and/or morbid obesity. The AGB is more commonly known in the U.S as the Lap-Band®. We are here to offer support and information on everything from emotional issues to area doctors and support meetings related to the Lap Band.

We are not nor do we claim to be medical professionals. Any opinions on this group are just that (opinions). This is a support group for patients by patients. We are here to offer support and general information on the Lap-Band® Adjustable Gastric Banding System. If you are in need of medical advice please consult your doctor or local hospital.

**MONTHLY SUPPORT MEETINGS**

Houston Area Bandsters (HAB) meet @ The Central Market 3815 Westheimer. The room is on the 2nd floor. Go in the main entrance and take either the elevator or the stairs.
