This is a place that I have created for family and friends who are living with someone or know someone who has Holt-Oram Syndrome. My name is Shannon and I am a 38 year old Stay at home mother of a beautiful 7 year old daughter named Rachel who was born with Holt-Oram. She is the 3rd Generation of Holt-Oram, she was born missing both of her thumbs and a PDA, she had her heart surgery one week before her first birthday and was able to go home that night. Her father and his mother also have Holt-Oram. I have created this place for all of us to come together and share our lives with each other. After doing a search on the internet for support groups in the United States and found not one, I wanted to have a place of our own to talk about our everyday lives and share them with each other. Come on in and make some great friends! I am happy to see that our little group is growing more and more every day and that we all know that we are not alone and that we are all special in our own way!
