Hippotherapy is a treatment strategy utilized by OT, PT and SLP to achieve functional goals in patients. It is simply the use of the movement of the horse to affect change. This group hopes to serve as a forum for all therapist who want to learn more about hippotherapy or all therapist who want to discuss relavant topics such as, horse selection and training, activities, developmental positions, behavior management, etc.
