People with a Golden Touch never get symptoms of anything. That's because they
use some EO twice a day 5-6 days/wk. That's not to say you use every EO in your
kit every day, but as many as you like every day (taking 1-2 days off per week).
Another good way to use Juvaflex (JF) is an oil retention enema. Mix 5-10 drops
into a tbsp of plain oil, draw up into a syringe (at bedtime) and insert, squirt
inside, roll over and sleep. This way the EO is going up into the liver from the
bottom inside.
RC is great if you tend toward stuffy sinuses (esp after dining on airy
foods) or just want to remain free of respiratory infection. That soft spot on
the base of the throat is a great place to put a drop, or across the nose, added
to a cup of warm tea, applied to the chest and back (4-6 drops) before a
sporting
event (when you're playing), etc.
Foot reflex points are a must with any of the oils. Do you have a chart ?
Raven is used same as RC. It is a stronger antimicrobial.
Thieves (THV) is great for strep throat or for dental cavities (no joke). We now
have a toothpaste made with THV (Dentarome), but when I started I used to brush
my teeth (3x/day at least) and then put a drop on the clean wet toothbrush
(after
I rinsed my mouth) and brushed my teeth again, and then just let it soak in for
a
couple of minutes before swallowing. This 'paste has helped some people correct
dental abcesses, and other people it just buys time so they can afford to have
it
pulled).
Endoflex (EF) is a top priority. many Americans suffer with low thyroid (in
part due to chlorinated water we bath in, blocks uptake of iodine). I place a
drop on the bottom of the joint of both big toes (and work it in with the
Vitaflex technique untill dry), then a drop on both kidneys (for the adrenal
glands), 1-2 drops on the front of the throat (the thyroid fits behind the
adam's
apple like a big heart shape sticking out to both sides), and last but not least
is a drop in my palm and I lick it up (EF contains spearmint so its very
cooling).
Ditone (DI) is applied across the belly but also across the bottom of each
foot, just above the heel. You'll probably have a BM within the hour. It seems
good for peristalsis. If you get an upset stomach or want to purge parasites
(which everyone has to varying degrees) a few drops in a glass of water is great
(and flavorful).
Melrose (MEL) is great for fungus. Whether it be on your nails or more
intimate areas you can mix it up in plain oil like RC, and then apply where
ever.
Have you heard about our "PDR" ? It by Dr. Young, and is the most complete
book on Aromatherapy. It's $34.95 + s/h (800-336-6308) or the Reference Guide
was
compiled by Gary's former secretary and was our best effort untill Gary finally
printed the PDR. The Reference Guide is $25 with s/h (605)258-2714
Don't forget to inhale the EO as you go ! Enjoy, David
