I formed this group out of a growing need for healing and comfort after the loss of my beloved mother. It is for anyone who has suffered a loss through illness or death. We are specifically geared toward the loss (illness/death) of a parent, but all are welcome. This is a safe place for you to share your grief.
We offer a place of healing through encouragement and willingness to 'listen' to all who need a friend. We will not judge or pass on empty platitudes, for they do not comfort, they only further our hurts. Many of the people here are Christians, however, all are welcome. Please do not slam or flame in your posts as we are hurting enough and it only seeks to render our already vulnerable hearts.
Post as often as you need. No post is too long, no such thing as rambling. We all need a place to pour out our hearts.
