Do you paint, sculpt, draw or create other art as a way of coping? Intended as a place for those interested in creating art as a means of emotional healing, this group is open to original art, feedback, discussion. Survivors of childhood abuse and/or those with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress), DID/MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder), OCD, anxiety, depression, etc. are especially welcome to join. To keep this group safe, anyone in any c^lt, w^tchcr^ft, etc. is not welcomed here.
My goal is to create a safe place where all members can post, comment, learn, grow, and interact with like-minded people, survivors and artists... This group will be as good as the effort put into it by its members, so I hope that you will join, share and become part of our community :) If you have visual artwork that you would like to post, you can feel free to post it in the "Photos" section of our website under a folder with your name.
Given the sensitive nature of this group, please act with respect and care for others when posting or replying to messages. Always make sure subject titles are descriptive of the message content, and if the content is especially triggering, then please specify "Read Only If Safe" in the subject line and beginning of the body of the post along with a brief description of what to expect.
Please make sure you are safe before and during reading, posting and responding to any posts and/or files. This group is not intended in any way as therapy, but it is intended to be a place where all members can feel safe to share their artwork without being judged.
For those interested in a group specifically for poetry/prose and other writings, please visit the Writing-Away-the-Pain Yahoo!Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Writing-Away-the-Pain.
Should you have any feedback or questions regarding this group, please feel free to email me at Caroline@MildStonesCreations.com.
Warmly,
Caroline Ann Martin.
