Well, my own journey to renewed health has truely begun, this year.
Today is a new day, in every sense of the word. The first of the
rest of my new and improved life and all that..........except for the
fact that I've just deleted my entire weblog from my site:
www.Perfectdaymassage.com
You can still find me typing away prolifically, here, and on Parent
Pack and Barter_lumans.
We got a dog, a bit over week or so ago, and have to trade it in,
because it's already bitten my Mom, but in the mean time, the dog has
helped me to lose 5 lbs off of my 50 lbs over-wt. physique, and we
had grown quite attached to the dog. I was noticing a few small
signs of neurosis in the dog, but it was supposed to be protective of
the family, and this is the first time that I've had a dog on my own
account, since I was in my early teens.
Well, the breeder is coming for the dog, Today, and we will go get
the other one, after the holidays, so that we're not uprooting it,
only to have to immediately board it during our vacation.
I just wanted to share w/ you a few of the tips that I got, less than
2 weeks ago, that helped me drop 5 lbs, since then.
Do keep in mind that every body is different, and what worked for me
may be all wrong for you. I'm perscribing nothing, except a chat w/
a nutritionist, and the strategizing of a realistic game plan for YOU.
My game plan for MY body (which is plagued w/ Ulcerative Colitis and
Celiac Disease) was to drink a TB of raw unfiltered apple cider
vinegar in half a mug of warm water each morning, and another mug of
warm water w/ at least 1/3 of a fresh lemon squeezed into it, and 2
oz. of a product that my nutritionist gave me that's composed of
kelp, fruit, and aloe, w/ a green tea bag, and a bit of sucanat for
sweetening.
All this to alkalize my stomach, before I even eat.
The pay off is amazing. I'm more in tune w/ how little I really
need, and how heavy it can feel if I eat the wrong thing. I'm
learning the great efficacy, of proper food combining, and the wisdom
of the Atkins Diet concept. More accurately, my body is learning
these things.
After I drink my 1.5 mugs of warm concoctions, I eat (when I'm ready)
some yogurt w/ fruit. My nutritonist advised me of some foods that
would be particularly good for me, which I add to the yogurt: An oz.
or so of flax seed, another of coconut, a banana, and or some fresh
berries, and if I've got a lot to do that morning, I add just a bit
of granola. I'm careful to be sure that it's a good yogurt w/
probiotics and other live cultures.
I'm eating smaller portions, now, w/ out feeling hungry and tuning in
to when to stop, and the wt. is coming off.
If you're anything like me, and you've been trying forever, but
haven't seen your "fighting wt." in that long, you're going to want
to call this nutritionist or another that is closer to home for you,
and talk about your condition and any others that you may have. I
highly recommend this one: Holly Delano
Call me for her #.
...........Then get a dog. Just make sure it's not neurotic.
