  A Course in Miracles is published by The Foundation for Inner Peace. It is
available in most religious book stores, published in many languages  and
many libraries have it as well.
   The Course was channeled, rather dictated as she said from Jesus , by
Helen Shucman a Professor of Psychology at Columbia University's College of
Physicians and Surgeons.  Helen was raised in the Jewish faith and was a
self admitted atheist at the time of the writing of "The Course".  A
colleague, also a professor of psychology, William Thetford and Helen has a
discussion one day that they were not doing enough for patients and for the
strained relationship they had working together  and wished they could be of
more help.  With these few words from their hearts A Course in Miracles
began and was completed after seven years.  Students of the Course number
into the millions.
