The Hudson River Peer Networking Group is comprised of Consumers,Survivors and Ex-Patients (C/S/X) of the mental health system. Individual Recipients, Peer Organizations and other interested parties and friends may participate. The Hudson River Region is comprised of 16 counties in NY State (Albany,Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Putnam, Rensselaer, Rockland, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Sullivan, Ulster, Warren, Washington, and Westchester).
The Peer Networking Group is for the exchange of ideas, best practices, program successes, speakers for events, announcing of training opportunities and events such as conferences, retreats and expositions. It is also an opportunity for recipients of mental health services (past and present) to get together and share their experiences and learn from each other paths to wellness.
Other peer networking groups from around New York State and around the world are invited to participate in these forums and share your experiences with us. All recipients (Consumers, Survivors, Ex-Patients, Ex-Service Users, etc) are welcome to join in.
This is a monitored forum. No SPAM, threats of violence, harassing or degrading statements, denegrating individuals and/or cultures, or any other behavior deemed offensive by the monitors will be allowed. This is to be a safe place for recipients to share, learn, grow and meet others. One has to join this group and members are expected to act appropriately. We will not censor or edit your remarks other than for offensive content. All recipient points of view are welcomed.
