Most of us probably haven't even heard of HPV, but it is the most commonly sexually transmitted disease there is today. If you have heard of it you probably know that it is the virus that causes genital warts.

However, did you know that HPV can also cause dysplasias and cancers of the cervix, vulva, and vagina in women? Did you know that condom use does NOT protect you 100% from HPV? Did you know that HPV can affect women differently then men?

The goal of this site is to bring people together in a caring and calm environment to discuss HPV, the ramifications of the virus, and for the most part to EDUCATE. It is our hope that through this support group people can find comfort in the fact that they are not alone and that others feel the way they do. Its not easy having a STD in today's world, but we can overcome and accept our disease.
