Re: [HOHAudiologists] new hearing aids

Suzanne,

I use the new Starkey Destiny product although I only have a moderate hearing loss, but I love them.  We have fit tons of them on patients and have had a lot of success even with difficult hearing losses.

There is also a new product out from Unitron the Element 16 that has the choice for a linear limiting processing strategy that works similar to older analog aids (output limiting).  We haven't tried it yet on our patients yet though.  I am at a VA so we have no access to analog aids for our power users.

Let us know how it goes.
