Another accomplishment for our group! Three of us were invited to
write vignettes for the ASHA Leader about being a hard of hearing
audiologist. In keeping with the entire issue on cochlear implants,
the three mentioned (Sandra Mintz, Ally Sisler, and myself) were
featured with cochlear implants. They really should do something
similar for the rest of the group! I'm going to suggest that to Susan
Boswell of the ASHA Leader. Perhaps the next article might feature the
different ways in which we compensate in clinic and what techniques
and strategies we use!
