Dear group,
The majority vote is to formalize the group. See results at

There were 3 against the idea. 13 for the idea.
We have a history of not having a strong response to polls, so I believe we
should move forward on this vote despite the small numbers.
I will contact the volunteers shortly to get things rolling.
