Hello all,

My name is Zac La Fratta, and will be entering my first year for Gallaudet's
Audiology Program this coming fall. I am very excited to embark this journey
after fulfilling all the prereqs during the past year.

I previously was a software/business consultant for the past 10 years and found
that was not my expression. I discovered my new passion after becoming involved
with the HOH communities when I was fitted with my hearing aids in 2006.

I have a bilateral mod-profound sensorineural hearing loss acquired from my
exposure to meningitis at 8 months old.

I look forward to exploring this group and learning more from you all.
