Mandi-
I think each year a lot of new people are on the convention board and they
don't know what is going on. The ones that know the history of difficulty
with accommodations at the convention are the Academy Staff and I don't
think they go out of their way to educate the board. Back in the spring
they had their first convention planning meeting and afterwards they said
they would "let me know when they needed to know something" It was pretty
vague. I was sure we would get some sort of affirmative response. But we
haven't. I am pretty much a nuisance at this point...(it has been pointed
out to me) but I won't stop hounding especially since myself and so many
others are disappointment and frustrated.
I say the more letters the better. If you can get another one out, maybe
targeting several board people as well as the Academy staff (CC the
president for sure) that will make a bigger impact.
I will be sending out me own letter(s) soon.
Unfortunatly we have to keep the issue fresh in their minds or they forget
about us.:(
