As I was trying to catch up with my email (after a vacation) I
noticed that AAA is taking submissions on "innovative proposals"
which would include our annual "roundtable/discussion group" (they
changed the name to discussion group last year) and the proposed
panel that we have yet to get approved as well as the possible focus
group (which we have run in the past).

I started thinking about the possibilities of this group and my part
again for the next convention and I realized that I am not sure I
will be able to afford to go again next year. My husband and I will
have to crunch some numbers and determine if it will work. I want
to put this out there since we should consider the possibility that
I may not be able to make every convention.

This is where we would benefit from elections. That way there are
defined roles for each person involved. I would like to proposed an
election. I have been waiting for everyone to convert over to the
yahoo listserve, but I think there has been sufficient time
allowed. Please post your feedback and I will start working on the
ballot.
