Sorry for the late response.... I have bilateral cochlear implants, I wear Cochlear's Freedom speech processors. Got the first one (Nucleus 24) in 1998 and the second one in July 2007 (Freedom).
I'm finishing up my 1st year at Northwestern in an accelerated 3 year AuD program. It's been a crazy, but great experience so far being in a fast-track program and being the first profoundly deaf with cochlear implants here!
