Do you have a hearing loss yourself? That is what this Yahoo Groups is
about: hard of hearing audiologists. Either way, there is a shortage of
audiologist, not only in this country, but all around the world. One
thing to consider is location. My wife and I are both audiologists at a
university in Little Rock, AR. Though we are a small metropolitan city,
the market for audiology positions is saturated. My point is, depending
where you live, or depending on what your own career goals might be in
audiology, you will have to be willing to move. Otherwise, I find
audiology to be a very rewarding job.
