How about:
National Association of Audiologists with Hearing Loss?
etc?
Love to see what other ideas others have!

Stacey,
That is a good idea. It’s been tossed around before in the past. Maybe we didn’t have enough members before to support the idea… maybe now we do. I would like to see this happen as well. Any ideas on a name for the group? As you mentioned a name might give us a little boost.

Hi,
I have a few minutes, and I thought I'd jot a quick note in reply. I have felt that the staff is not very well versed in accommodations (there has been a time when I had to really stick to my guns to sit right up front at the general assembly so I could better see the speakers!)
I am wondering if it would not be a bad idea to formally form an actual organization and membership (like NAFDA is a specific organization, or like AMPHL), and perhaps we can get more leverage that way, instead of being "that bunch of audiologists who are HoH/deaf". If we are able to become an actual organization, it could maybe get more attention to this growing population of audiologists who have hearing loss. Just a thought.
