This program will cover methods busy clinicians can use to deliver
effective prevention messages and behavioral interventions
in the course of one or more patient visits. The focus will be on STD/HIV
prevention, including prevention with positives, but the methods
are applicable with other infectious diseases or risky behaviors.

COLORADO

HIV CLINICAL TRAINING PROGRAM
Offered by: Mountain Plains AIDS Education and Training Center
Dates: 10/12-14/05, 11/9-11/05, 12/7-9/05, 1/11-13/06, 3/8-10/06, 4/19-21/06,
5/10-12/06, 6/7-9/06
The training provides updated information on HIV, in order to improve
practitioner’s abilities to provide ongoing care to HIV-infected and HIV-at-risk
patients. The program consists of didactic sessions and rotations at various
clinical sites throughout the Denver-metro area. Each training is
individualized, to the extent possible, to meet the professional learning goals,
practice needs, and interests of the participant. Typical training sessions are
