REMINDER: CONFERENCE CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS DUE JULY 23

The deadline for calls for presentations (CFPs) for the 14th Texas HIV/STD
Conference is Friday, July 23, 2004 at 5pm. CFPs e-mailed, faxed, or
postmarked after this date will not be accepted. You can access the CFP
form online at www.tdh.state.tx.us/hivstd/conf/2004/cfp.htm, or by calling
Sylvia Watson at 512-490-2500, ext. 2624.

The 14th Texas HIV/STD Conference will be held December 13-17, 2004 at the
Renaissance Austin hotel in northwest Austin. Keep reading the Texas
HIV/STD E-Update for future conference information, or visit the 2004
conference Web site at www.tdh.state.tx.us/hivstd/conf/2004/default.htm.


REMINDER: CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS DUE JULY 23

The deadline for scholarship applications for the 14th Texas HIV/STD
Conference is Friday, July 23, 2004 at 5pm. Applications e-mailed, faxed,
or postmarked after this date will not be accepted. The scholarship
application form is available online at
www.tdh.state.tx.us/hivstd/conf/2004/schol.htm, or by calling Cindi Blair at
512-490-2500, ext. 2674 or 800-299-2437 (wait for attendant and ask for ext.
2674).

Please note that conference scholarships are for persons affected by HIV,
STD, and Hepatitis C. You must be a Texas resident to be eligible for a
scholarship, and paid employees of TDH, TDH direct-funded organizations,
contractors, and subcontractors are not eligible.
