Third Party Reimbursement Training and Technical Assistance Program for HRSA
Grantees and Subgrantees
Beginning in September 2001, the Health Resources and Services
Administration (HRSA) embarked on a three-year program to improve the Third
Party Reimbursement (TPR) status of HRSA grantees and subgrantees. HRSA has
contracted with a team of experts to provide TPR training and technical
assistance to HRSA grantees in each State.
The next webcast in this training series is "Ambulatory Care Coding and
Documentation" scheduled for Wednesday, March 10th from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.
This webcast will cover:
* Use of charge capture forms
* Use of CPT codes
* Use of evaluation and management (E&M) codes to document and be reimbursed
for level of effort/intensity in office visits
* Use of modifiers
* Health/medical record documentation requirements and external auditing
issues
