Herb,
I'm very sorry for your loss. You and your family will be kept my prayers.
ALL,
As you may or may not remember my dad (not a pHD) died this past April. Following his death I lost 2 cousins I was within 2 days of each other. They were brothers about 10 years apart. I was very close to the younger brother when were young.
Then last week I received more bad news. The first my Aunt Lisa (pHD) is now in hospice care. She is apparently in a lot of pain and her chorea has gotten so bad that she is literally beating herself up constantly. The second is about my son Caleb is only 14. If you remember last at the end of the school year we had some issues with not going to school and then threating suicide, so I committed him to Children's psychiatric unit. While he was there he was diagnosed with a mood disorder probably Bi-polar. Well he has also been suffering from Migraines and I recently took him to a neurologists and now they want to have him tested for HD. They feel he has symptoms and with his bi-polar meds it is necessary to test him because the meds could make him worse if they are not the right meds.
I really need your prayers on this one. I have felt that he is too young to be tested and this really hard for me. I am worried if he is positive that he will not be able to live with the diagnoses and it will push him over the edge. This is a lot for anyone to handle, but he is only 14 and he already a lot to handle. Please keep us, especially Caleb in your prayers.
Love and prayers,
Rhonda
