Below is an update from Marie on the 2007 Rockies to Plains bike ride, including the website where you'll be able to follow the bikers daily, once they start out on this years journey! For those who aren't familiar with this amazing annual event to raise awareness and funding for HD, you can read about the ride and the riders on this link: http://www.bikeforthecure.org/2007-bios.htm
I'm sure most of us wish we had a 10th of the stamina these wonderful ladies continue to display! Remember, all donations will be matched [doubled] by HDSA's benefactor and, per Marie's message, you can earmark your donation to go towards Family Services. If you are unable to help out this year, you can still follow the riders when they begin this journey May 31st by checking out the "Daily Message" link in the left-hand column of the website.
Please be sure to share information on the 2007 Rockies to Plains with your family and friends! I know mine always enjoy reading Marie's daily messages as they are so full of rich and enlightening information on the cities and towns they pass through each day!

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to remind everyone that the "Early Bird Special" on the T-shirt sponsorships (free t-shirt, either long or short sleeved, for $60) is fast approaching [April 15th]. We have received many sponsorships already, but know there are more folks out there who typically support this endeavor.
This is a great way to honor the memory of a loved one. So many have lost a loved one since last year. Many honor their Phd with his/her name on the shirt, or the name of the donor. Your choice. If you miss the deadline for the free t-shirt with sponsorship, you still have until a May 1 postmark to get a name on the t-shirt.

This year's ride is shaping up well. Charlotte is busy securing accommodations along the way, Sherri is planning a pig roast in Lewiston ID on Saturday, May 12, Sandy has been collecting donations and two friends of hers from Nebraska will ride with us the first few days.
Close to $7000 has come in so far; thank you to each of you who has donated. No amount is too big or too small. We can earmark donations which request money go to Family Services.
