Below is the official notice extending the NYA Convention scholarship
application deadline. Applications most be post marked by April 18th.

This scholarship is open to any member of the HDSA National Youth Alliance
[NYA] who needs financial help to attend the national convention in
Oklahoma. Thanks to the generosity of the Northwest HDSA Chapter
[Washington] donation of $2,000.00 to the 2007 NYA scholarship fund there is
now $7,851.21 available for scholarships!

An e-mail sent on March 21, 2007 email, "A Message from the HDSA National
Youth Alliance", announced the 2007 HDSA NYA Convention Scholarship
application kick-off and reflected a due date of April 6, 2007 for all
interested parties to have their 2007 NYA Convention scholarship application
mailed to HDSA. Due to the high interest that has been shown in this
scholarship since that email, the HDSA is extending the deadline for the
submittal of applications to accommodate all of the young people who are
interested in applying. The new schedule is:

Applications, along with all required supporting documentation, must be
postmarked not later then Wednesday, April 18th, and mailed to Mynelly Perez
c/o HDSA.

Winners of a 2007 NYA scholarship will be notified on or before April 25th.


Each NYA member's application along with their essay and all required
signatures are to be mailed to:
