As most of you know, the 2006 RAAM Bike Race across America has the 2CURE-HD Team participating this year, with all money raised going towards HD Research. Three of the four cyclists in this relay team have HD in their families: Bryan Medrano tested positive for the HD-gene, Renato Shaffer’s wife was just diagnosed with HD (and he has two children), Scott Needle’s wife is at-risk for HD, and the fourth rider John Sylvester doesn’t have HD in his family – he is doing it to support the cause. Brian is a member of the NYA and the 2004 HDSA Person of the Year!
Even if you don't live in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Western PA or New Jersey, maybe you have a friend or relative who does and will forward this message on to them [please] asking if they can help?

Sandy Sanford, past President of the HDSA San Diego Chapter and Pam Foye-Needles, 2CURE HD Race Coordinator needs families across the race route to help cheer on and support our HD Team on their trek across America!! If you, or anyone you know, will be able to support our HD RAAM Team please contact Sandy Sanford either by phone: 760-752-1844 or by email: golfogey@.... Or you can contact Pam Foye-Needles, phone 760-476-1656.760.470.0139. They will make sure you are kept up-to-date on when support is needed in your area!
Our 2CURE-HD team also needs to get information on the following for each of the cities along their route If you have the answers to any of these for any city, please let Sandy or Pam know ASAP!

Sandy will be leaving for the convention in Milwaukee June 8th so please try to get your contact information into him by Wednesday, June 7th PDT.
