Two and a half years ago I started this group for people affected by Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer (HDGC) - patients, families, caregivers and medical professionals. I hoped, but never thought, that it would turn into such a large (118 members at last count!), active, caring group of people!

If you or someone you know has hereditary gastric cancer, please feel free to join. Just request approval with a sentence or two about why you would like to (this has been 99% effective in keeping spammers out).

Please note that the views and information shared in this group are those of the people posting only and should not be considered medical recommendations or advice. Even medical professionals joining the discussion are doing so unofficially. Members who are patients or people at risk for HDGC should always consult their physicians (hopefully ones with substantial experience with this disease) before making any decisions about their medical care.
