This list is for anyone interested in the Homebirth Association of North Dallas (HAND). Our goals are to promote midwifery, to educate the public about the safety and benefits of homebirth, and to provide resources and support to those planning to birth at home. This list will be used to help keep members informed of upcoming HAND events as well as to provide a forum for questions and support between meetings. A wide variety of topics relating to pregnancy, labor, and birth may be discussed; we are tolerant of off-topic posts as well. All new subscribers will be asked to post an introduction to the list before joining (please note that this is NOT the same as the "comment" section that comes up when you click to join).
