This list is for anyone interested in the Homebirth And Midwifery Support Group (HAMS). Our goals are To bring together Los Angeles and Orange county area home birthers and midwifery care users to provide resources and support, to promote midwifery, to educate the public about the safety and benefits of homebirth, to provide resources and support to those planning to birth at home or in an out of hospital birth center.

All those in the area seeking information (or able to provide it) on these topics are welcome. This list will be used to help keep members informed of upcoming HAMSgroup events as well as to provide a forum for questions and support between meetings. A wide variety of topics relating to pregnancy, labor, and birth may be discussed. All new subscribers will be asked to provide a short introduction when applying to join the list.
