Helping After Neonatal Death (HAND) is a pregnancy/infant loss community created to support anyone who has lost a child before, during or after birth. Consisting of members in all stages of their grief process, our purpose is to help each other by sharing our experience, strength and hope. We offer a gentle, non-judgmental community where we can speak freely of our loss, and our journey through the fire of grief.

The best way to get started here is to read through some of the posts from other families and, when you are ready, share your story. Conversations are stimulated by questions you might have or when you seek advice to feelings or situations you have. Members of this group are at various points along their path to their "new normal" and can provide their insights to your situation, as well as just listen and support you as you relate your story.

HAND also offers in-person grief support groups, subsequent pregnancy support grous, and telephone support in Northern California, and we will try to help you find similar resources in your local area.
