Question: If less that 10% of the population is supposedly "gay", then why do about +63% of men privately surveyed admit to some degree of same gender affection?
Answer: Because statistics gathered over +50 years reveals that this is the case! Guys generally know & deeply appreciate what makes a guy "a stud". True!
However, a large number of men only consider "penetration" to be "GaySex".
This perspective occurred for several reasons:
1) Most men do N0T identify with the social-patterns that are widely connected with the term "gay". Such men perceive "gay" to mean "Female-Feigning". This is no doubt due to the extremely conflicting gender-role messages being sent from the "gay-community" itself. While this is without debate, it is also a subtopic beyond the scope of this group.
2) Because of the fact above, most men who have been erotically affectionate with other men have done so in some minor variation of the image displayed here. It is perceived by most that because there was no "penetration" that neither guy was "emasculated" in the metaphysical sense, -& because most men also have opposite-gender attractions, a physically tender (nonAnal) event with another is not perceived to be "gay".
Furthermore, many men engage in such non-penetrative acts of affection with other men throughout the course of their lives - treating such relationships with extreme discretion because their gut feeling is that it truly isn't a "gAy" thing, while they also know that a large section of society is too obtuse to make distinctions between effeminizing acts, vs. the intimacies of extremely close friendships.
The form of intimate contact shown is called "FR0T" (or Bone2Bone). For many reasons, it is the most stimulating form of full-body contact enjoyed by men & it is by FAR the safest (No STD statistics even exist related to the practice)!
