Hi Mandi,
Great to hear from you.
Thank you for your wonderful response and your prayers for Mary (and
others!).
Again, I'm really sorry for the recent loss of your mother.
Your friend said that the second year was harder, and I've talked
with many that thought some things were getting easier by then, so I
guess it says grief is challenging. Like snowflakes, no two
situations are alike.
I hope and pray that you have a different experience. That the
second year, for you, is a good time emotionally as you continue
finding how to live without your Mom here.
It's just so hard losing our parents. Not only do we miss that love
and companionship, but we also fel so much different in this world--
not quite as secure.
Gracious God, I pray for all here that are experiencing the loss of
loved ones. Lord, may you be our peace, our security, and our
comfort. Please, Lord, heal the hurts and replace the feelings of
fear and disappointment with your peace, love and sense of purpose.
Help us to live in the hope that you give; Lord, the hope that knows
we'll one day see you and those that we love and miss. Give us
strength for this day, In the name of Jesus--amen.
Have a good day, Mandi.
