Welcome to this group. You will find kind and compassionate people here that have all experienced loss and are trying to cope. I lost my mother this past July 29th, only 7 months ago and struggle everyday. Sometimes I feel like people in my life who have not had a loss that is significant to them thinks that by now I should "be over it." As much as I hate to read in your post that two years after losing your mother you're having difficulty coping, I do feel better in knowing that it's "okay" for me 7 months into mine that I feel like I do. ( I hope that makes sense) So in your post you were asking for help, but ended up helping me. Thank you. I think you will find this group tends to work like that a lot.

 

My best friend lost her mother 14 months ago, and she was just telling me last week that this second year without her mom is worse than the first. I wish I could offer you some words to help you cope, but all I can say is that you are not alone and along with myself there are many on this list that will pray for you.
