Good morning! I can't believe it has been 2 years. In some ways it feels like yesterday and in others it feels like I have lived 12 lifetimes since I saw him last. Yesterday was his birthday. He is 62 and you're right. He is a healthy, happy 62 year old, that is whole and flying planes, and Praising God. I can't wait for the day we get to see each other again.
I must add that (even though I didn't believe you in the beginning) you have been right all along. It does get if not easier at least more bearable with time. I now know and believe that Daddy is where he needs to be and deserves to be. He fought long and hard outliving all the doctors expectations by 20 years. I am thankful everyday for the time we had together instead of being angry for the years we were denied. Plus everyday brings us closer to being with our loved ones again. There are
still a few issues I need to clear up in my life before He comes again. But, I am ready whenever He is.
Hope you are having a good week. We had a cool front come thru and the temp actually dropped to 95 or 98 depending on what channel you watch or 100 in my car. When did I get excited over weather that is almost bearable and gas prices below 2.99 a gallon? lol
I better get ready for work. Have a good one.
God Bless,
Lisa

Lisa, it's GREAT to hear from you.2 years. I'm so sorry you've had to miss your dad for that time. We're all going to be together some day. That's God's promise. Your dad is going to be healed, well again, and praising the Lord. I hope two years hasn't diminished the reality that he loved you so much. The white flag comes out in Western Washington at 92 degrees. I lived in California for quite a few years so I understand 107 all too well, but it's not bad here. September's coming...God's love and peace to you!John

I can't believe that. In some ways it feels like yesterday and others like 12 lifetimes have passed. If that makes sense.I am sorry I have never written anything for the group. I plan to, but we have been so busy lately that I go days without even logging onto yahoo. I hope it slows down soon. I promise I still plan to.I hope your summer is going well and that you are staying cool. We had a cool front come thru and I think the high today was only in the upper 90's. So far the hottest actual temp I have seen is 107. I can't believe that and I can't believe that our guys work outside in that all day long building houses. My boss made a new rule that any day the temp hits 100 they stop working by 3pm. They will work until 5 or later. It's insane!Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and let you know I had not forgotten. You have no idea how much it means to me that you even asked me to write something.God Bless you & your family,Lisa

Middle of summer can be a really challenging time weather wise. Also, for
those of you that have lost loved ones at this time of year, it can be
especially hard too.
God be with you through this time and grant you peace in his love and
grace.
Sorry I've not been posting much here, but I think about you all and pray for
you.
John
