Hi John!  I honestly was just thinking about you.  Today is the anniversary of the funeral and tomorrow is Dad's birthday.  In fact, next month will be 2 years.  I can't believe that.  In some ways it feels like yesterday and others like 12 lifetimes have passed.  If that makes sense.

 

I am sorry I have never written anything for the group.  I plan to, but we have been so busy lately that I go days without even logging onto yahoo.  I  hope it slows down soon.  I promise I still plan to. 

 

I hope your summer is going well and that you are staying cool.  We had a cool front come thru and I think the high today was only in the upper 90's.   So far the hottest actual temp I have seen is 107.  I can't believe that and I can't believe that our guys work outside in that all day long building houses.  My boss made a new rule that any day the temp hits 100 they stop working by 3pm.  They will work until 5 or later.  It's insane!

 

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and let you know I had not forgotten.  You have no idea how much it means to me that you even asked me to write something.
