Well it could very well be that you have some lactose intollerance.
There is a couple of things you could try:

See if you can find some Probiotic capsules in your local health food
store and take them three times daily.

Only use lactose free milk. We love lactose free milk because it is a
lot sweeter than regular milk, because the milk sugar is already broken
down for easier digestion. The increased sweetness is great for shakes
and the nightly cocoa. This milk is widely available at least here in
Canada, but it does cost more than regular milk.

Thank you. Found some probiotic powder (can't swallow pills) at health food store. And I will look for lactose free milk- sure I can at least find it at Whole...

Beth, I am lactose intolerant and use lactose-free skim milk to make the smoothies. I also found ONE kind of yogurt, Wallaby, that I can eat without gassing up...
