Thought of the Month:



"What Is Complete Health!?"



These days everyone has a different perception of what their complete health is.
To me, it includes a healthy lifestyle of working out and eating right, having a
relaxing home setting, that doesn't make you feel stressed every time you enter
the door and someone to share it all with.



Because of my drive and ambitions, I will personally experience stress to some
degree and I will never be "satisfied." I will always want to better my self
physically, mentally and fiscally. It is up to each person to decide what their
complete health is and what makes them feel whole. It is not left up to someone
like me to give you that definition or set guidelines. I know that I am
personally in the best place I have been in my entire life in the category of
happiness and I wish everyone else the same feeling.

This years end of the year inventory dates will be from October 27 thru November

"Thoughts On AdvoCare"!?

Apparently the selling pyramid is coming back to life, as I have been asked this
question off-and-on through the month.

When this company was started eons ago, the idea was you sell me on the product
and the I sell the product, then you make more money.  Then your friend sells
another friend, who sells another, and then you make money off their money, etc.

The honest truth is, "if I have to be sold on a product, then I don't want the
product."  I also don't want an out of shape man or woman telling me how it
works great to cure the world, because it apparently does not work for them!

Recently Jessica Hardy was disqualified from a swim meet for illegal substance
testing that was masked in Advocare Products and a lawsuit was filed.  This does
not help my confidence in this company either, as (based on this lawsuit) their
products do not contain what they claim on their labels!

"How Important Is Taking Supplements In Seeing Great Results!?

Some supplements are more important than others in seeing results!

There are two problems that I frequently see in taking supplements. There are
the people that refuse to take any and there are the people that do not change
their lifestyle and hope that their "magic pill" will be their gateway to a rock
hard body.

Supplements are just what the word implies; supplement of your daily food
intake. They are suppose to be taken as a compliment to what you do not get out
of your daily food intake or to help speed up progress that your body is not
able to show on it's own.

"What if I don't have time to write down what I eat!?" – Anon.



Background:



In becoming fit, writing down my every move was the most important thing I did. 
I wrote down what time I woke up, what time I ate, what I ate and what quantity.
I wrote down each exercise I did, how much weight, how long the workout took and
what I weighed after.  I then wrote down what time I went to bed.



As time has rolled on and I feel I am in a funk and not able to get back to the
physique I "once had," I am able to look back at old records and find I am
lazier with my food, liquid, workouts or not getting enough sleep and I can make
adjustments!





Response:



Writing down what you eat is the stairway to success.  Most people who are asked
at the end of the day, "What did you have to eat today?"  Sit back, look to the
sky and try to recall what they eat.



Plain and simply, "If you don't have enough time to write down this information,
YOU ARE EATING TOO MUCH!"



Most of what you put in your mouth comes in a package that has all nutrition
information listed on it.  If you can't spend 30-60 seconds copying this
information into a journal, you are just being LAZY!  You may also be
embarrassed to admit to what you just put in your mouth and skip writing it
down.  Unfortunately, the more you lie to yourself, the less likely you are
going to be successful in pursuit of your weight loss or gain goals.



The most successful clients I have are writing their information down either for
me or for themselves.  They will bring it in and have me critique this when they
