1.i think many people are embarassed to ask for health and fitness
related things,
because they will be seen as "more fat" by whoever they ask, than
they already
think they are. i think there is no better gift than health. i cant
imagine why
your sales arent increasing this time of year, especially since
everyone's new
year's resolution is to lose weight. are you looking for any people
to help
promote and advertise for you? i am going to be doing a lot of
training this
spring in preparation for the National Golden Gloves boxing
tournament. if you
are interesting in partnering with some advertising i am interested
as well. let
me know.
2.I would have to say I would love the idea of getting a gift
certificates and
supplements for christmas. I am not understanding why people are not
responding
to this. What a great christmas gift that would be. I ask for
nothing for
christmas, and tell my family I better not get anything but cards.
So, that is
why Brian has not came in. I just plan on getting back with you
after the first
of the year. The money I use for training is just a expense I put
in my budget
for the year(instead of ciggarettes or beer etc.) I hope people see
how
important health is and buy these gift certificates.
3.Hello Brian,
Hope all is going well. My daughter needs more bars, but I likely
will stay off the roads for a couple of days.
Re your question on gift certificates, my family does not do much
gift exchanging. We give gifts to our children, nieces, nephews,
etc. We do give some small things to friends, like a bottle of wine
or a small basket of something. My only thought on your gift
certificates is while I think its a great idea, it might not fit
into the traditional mold of Christmas giving and in some cases be
considered as politically incorrect. Is giving a gift certifcate
like this considered as encroching too far into someone's personal
lifestyle considerations? ie. would I give a certificate for 3 PT
sessions to my wife or some other loved one, probably not. Not that
I don't value what you bring to the table with our sessions or
products...I really do. I'd be concerned about their perception of
the meaning behind the gift...what's this person trying to tell
me..am I fat! Even though my wife and daughter workout and would
probably use these sorts of certificates, I still would not be
comfortable giving them. I know some people are even offended by
gift cards or gift certificates in general, regardless of where
there are purchased. I have heard negative feedback on companies
that give gift certificates for say HyVee, but not for those who
give for say Younkers. Don't know if I've provided any insight, but
have a Merry Christmas.
