RE: Whey Protein Pricing



Dear Valued Customer,



As the largest buyer of whey proteins in the sports nutrition
industry, Optimum Nutrition prides itself on offering premium
products at affordable prices. Unfortunately, strong demand and
serious supply constraints have driven whey protein prices to record
levels. In the past year, the prices of raw materials used to make
many of our whey protein products have increased by as much as 100%.
And with ever-increasing international demand for whey proteins as
well as a paucity of new dairy-whey processing facilities coming on-
board, the outlook for whey protein is that the demand will continue
to exceed the supply. While we have, and will continue to, absorb
many of the price increases that have been pushed onto us by our
suppliers, regrettably, we have reached a point where we must now
share some of the higher manufacturing costs with our customers.



Effective March 15, 2007, our prices for 100% Whey Gold Standard,™
