No you are mistaken. It is possible to revert back to a chronic phase
and even enter a remission after being in the accelerated phase or
sometimes even blast phase however it isn't always easy. Clearly
Gleevec isn't working for this patient and she isn't in any type of
remission with the blast cell count she has. The only thing I can
suggest is that she try one of the new drugs but like I said in my
earlier post, time is of the essence.
