Yes,I am beginning to believe the iron might just be the answer..but will check
with the doc about the others in case they are an option.
Thanks to everyone!!

By the way,I lived in Everett for about 18 months and have to tell you that WA
is one of the most beautiful states I have been to.And I have been to 48 states.
We took advantage of the time my husband was there designing on the boeing 777
by going out every weekend to see as much as we could.Cascade Loop was
fantastic!!!

HI Freeda -
I have the GIST and am on Gleevec 600mg per day. I'm having the same signs
of fatigue due to the Gleevec. I was getting shots of Procrit, then they
changed to Aranesp, which is the same concept. I get a shot every three weeks.
I don't know if it would be the same type of medicine that would not be
recommended for CML. But it wouldn't hurt to ask. My doc also suggested iron
pills, I try and remember to take them.....
Also, he suggested I start exercising to help combat my fatigue. Easy for
him to say - when there are some days I can barely climb the stairs. I was
thinking about joining the Y and start swimming though.
So good luck - there are a lot of us pulling for you.
