I was surprised to read that procrit may not be good for all cml'ers.I had some
hope when I read telephonics reply and had hopes. Thanks, though, telephonics!!! So
maybe the iron is the answer.I will check on that too.ANYTHING!!! I get reasured
when I read that I am not alone. Some times I feel all alone in this thing. Then I
think maybe it's a small price to be able to enjoy my family and friends.Without
Gleevec I may not be here to have that opportunity.
Thank you all for being there when I have a complaint and need to whine a
little.I am just used to doing SO much and get so discouraged when I don't have
the strength.

Freeda, I am so sorry u are so very tired--I to get very tired--but am
taking high dosage of iron and that seems to be helping some- My onc. Phys.
assistant gave me one injection of procrit and I began a search on the internet
and got the impression that it was not for CML patients. I contacted md
anderson hospital in Texas and their response was, it was an individual
oncologist
decision to use it. A long story short-my oncologist stopped it and said
that he would try other measures first. please let us know what happens when u
visit your oncologist! We are concerned and hope you get to feeling better.
Sometimes I hate to complain about being so tired, but when you don't even
feel like bathing or getting up off of the couch, you can't help but be
concerned. In Christ Love--hang in there-Dorothy
