I too have thyroid problems and have had high triglycerides since
I was diagnosed in Oct 97. I've been on two triglyceride meds, one
made me extremely ill and the one I'm currently on is Zocor. For the
first time in 3 years my triglycerides are normal. They were as high
as 1400. There is nothing to prove that these two are related,
however, it seems like quite a coincidence.
I'm also on thyroid medication and it has helped alot.
