Hello Richard and Jill, and welcome to our discussion group!
Everybody: Richard and Jill are the couple that told me about the
Glivec clinical study in my area, and I'm so very thankful to them
for that - as I would never have known about it time if they hadn't
told me when they did.

We all hope she soon has NO side effects. Isn't her dose rather high
because she was initially in an accelerated phase? Perhaps she will
be able to reduce her dose soon and maybe that will help ease those
symptoms.

They (doctors and others) say that CML and thyroid problems are not
related - but it sure seems a unusually large number of us have
thyroid problems, regardless of our treatments or drugs. I was dxd
hypothyriod same time as my CML dx.
