Georgia K9 is an open forum to advance canine efforts in the State of Georgia, involving search and rescue, tracking, cadaver, explosive detection and other general canine interests. The primary focus will be for service canine teams and groups to exchange information, techniques, training ideas and general discussions related to canine issues and other areas which may involve canine response. These areas include, but are not limited to, search and rescue interests, law enforcement activities and animal disaster recovery efforts. This forum is a gateway to bring together the volunteer community with public safety professionals within the State of Georgia.

Georgia K9 is also medium for canine teams, groups and interested parties to place information about training opportunities (local group training, seminars, conferences), testing and certification posts (times, locations) and any other related service canine meetings within the United States that would be of interest to the State of Georgia.
