Hi all, we stopped at Bed Bath & Beyond in Sunset Hills tonight and
almost immediately ran into a display of nuts and nutcracker--out in
the open on a table so that customers could test the nutcracker. There
were shells and nut bits all over the place, plus a bowl of the nuts
in shells, all very reachable by tiny hands. Beware. If this store is
on your list of places to visit, you might want to leave your
nut-allergic ones at home.

I was tempted to say something, but my past experiences in doing such
a thing have been frustrating. I do think I may write a letter,
though. I felt a bit shocked, but it was an important reminder that we
can encounter these hazards anywhere, anytime.
