The Children's Memorial Hospital is doing a food allergy study in Chicago. Their
goal: "This initiative will help to uncover the mystery of the increase in this
disease and will eventually help lead toward a treatment."

Our family drove up last year to participate. We were at the hospital for 2-3
hours where they drew blood for the capRast test, did the skin prick test and
asked questions about ourselves. It was very interesting to get results for
everyone in the family, not just our FA kids (for free). For participating we
received target gift cards and gas cards. Obviously, it won't cover all of your
expenses but if you're interested in spending a little time in Chicago and being
a part of an important study you can contact them. They are looking for more
