Hi Patricia, I'm glad you joined, so do you live in Evansville? or nearby? St. Marys is where I had mine and there are really nice people there, call them. I went to a support group meeting today and hope some of them join this group and then we can all talk about things together.
I too am a WW flunky!! I think I tried them 3 times. I have friends who have done really well with it but everything I had tried just didn't work out for me. I it good that there are different alternatives to solving our weight problem.
Ask any questions you might have, I will do my best to anwswer them and hopefully soon, a lot of other people will be here to help as well.
hope to hear from you soon
D'Ann

HelloMy name is Patricia.I am considering bypass surgery, if I meet the criteria. My BMI is 39. I've been on about every diet you can think of. Lose weight...then promptly gain it back.I have disc problems in my low back, and a strong family history of diabetes, although I personally have not developed it ...yet.I had lost down below 200 pounds, then I stopped smoking. Now the weight is back, and it brought friends. My back hurts much worse with the weight onI weigh more than I did before I started dieting. I was on weight watchers, now I feel like a WW flunky.I found this group and thought it might be a good place to start talking. My hubby called about it today, and I suppose it's a matter of setting up the appointment and moving forward at this point.
